The Florida Federal Constitutional Convention Question did not make the 2012 ballot in Florida.

The proposed measure would have called for a federal constitutional convention to put a balanced budget amendment in the United States Constitution.[1]

The proposed legislation was sponsored by Sen. Mike Haridopolos.

In order to qualify for the November 2012 ballot the proposed amendment required approval by a minimum of 60% in the both the House and the Senate. The proposal died during the 2011 legislative session.
