will not appear on a ballot

A Florida School Governance did not make the November 6, 2012 ballot in the state of Florida as an initiated constitutional amendment. If enacted this measure would have eliminated district school boards and replaced them with parental governing councils. These councils would have full authority to organize schools, as well as, determine school tax rates. The amendment was introduced twice by Save Our Schools, first on September 10, 2002, and then on March 4, 2003.[1]
