Esquibel previously served as a representative in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1997 to 2008.
Esquibel is an attorney. He received his JD from the University of Denver in 1975. He earned his BS from the University of Wyoming in 1966. He went on to earn his MSW from the University of Denver 1972.
Esquibel has worked as an attorney as well as supervisor for the Wyoming Department of Employment. He then became a Hearing Officer for the State of Wyoming in 1982. He worked in this position until 1986. He went on to become a Supervisor for the State of Nebraska in 1989. Esquibel then worked as a Compliance Officer for the State of Wyoming from 1989 to 1992. He also worked as a manager/supervisor in the social work field from 1986 to 1996.[2]
