There were twelve proposed Forest Hill Charter Amendments on the May 8 ballot in Tarrant County for voters in the city of Forest Hill.

Nine of the twelve proposed amendments were defeated[1]

There were twelve proposed charter amendments to the city charter, one of them being to change the city government to a stronger mayoral form instead of a city manager. There was also an amendment that would require voter approval to disband the city police and fire department, proposed by the fire and police department after the city manager brought up the idea with Tarrant county police chief. Changing the term length of council members was also a proposed amendment.[2]
