Forestville Term Limits Referendum (2008)

The Forestville Term Limits Referendum was referred to the November 4, 2008 ballot in Door County, Wisconsin. By ordinance, village trustees can only serve three two-year consecutive terms before they must step down for at least one term. This referendum hoped to repeal the ordinance, but voters chose to retain term limits. [1]

Approved, with 134 votes going to keep term limits (56.78%) and 102 votes going to repeal them (43.22%). [2]
