A Frankenmuth Township Road Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Frankenmuth, which is in Saginaw County.

This measure sought to renew the current road levy which is set at a rate of $2 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further four years in order to continue to pay for road maintenance an repair costs in the township. It was approved.

The question on the ballot:

Shall the previously voted millage for Frankenmuth Township, Saginaw County Michigan, of two (2) mills ($2.00 per one thousand dollars), to provide funds for road maintenance and repair within the Township, which exceeds the 15-mill limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of Michigan Constitution on General Ad Valorem Taxes within Frankenmuth Township, be renewed at the two (2) mill rate for an additional four years, 2013 through 2016 inclusive, which levy will raise in the first year of the levy the estimated sum of $175,000?[1][2]
