A Freedom Township Park Levy Addition measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the township of Freedom which is in Portage County.

This measure sought to add to the current levy which by a rate of $.05 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of three years in order to further pay for parks and recreational purposes in the township.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

An additional tax for the benefit of Freedom Township for the purpose of parks and recreational purposes, including park development and improvement at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 5 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 3 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013
