This measure sought to renew the current Disabilities Board levy which was set at a rate of $.20 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for maintenance and operational costs of the facilities operated by the Board.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Fulton County for the purpose of programs and services by the Fulton County Board of Developmental Disabilities and for the maintenance and operation of facilities of the Fulton County Board of Developmental Disabilities at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.20 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013. |
