Biography
Candaras earned her bachelor's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and J.D. from the Western New England College School of Law. Her professional experience includes working as an attorney and for Goldman Sachs, Institutional Investor Magazine, and Neuberger and Berger.[1]

Candaras won re-election to the First Hampden and Hampshire District seat in 2010. She had no primary opposition. Thomas McCarthy ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
