Everett earned his BS from Pennsylvania State University in 1976. He went on to receive his JD from Dickinson School of Law in 2000.
Everett served in the United States Air Force from 1977 to 1997. After earning his law degree, he worked as an attorney for McNerney, Page, Vanderlin, and Hall. He has worked there in that position since.
In 2007, Everett joined the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He has served in that position since, representing the 84th District.
