Chism is an Independent Insurance Agent and Co-Owner of Columbus Insurance Services Incorporated. He served in the Mississippi National Guard from 1969-1979 and has also previously worked as an agent for the Liberty National Life Insurance Company, and Brakeman with the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad Railroad.
Chism is a member of Rotary International, the New Hope Service Club, Independent Insurance Agents of America, Independent Insurance Agents of Mississippi, Masons, Shriners, Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, and the York Rite.[1]
