Grigsby ran in the 2012 election for Missouri House of Representatives, District 51. Grigsby defeated Raymond F. Kinney in the August 7 Democratic primary and was defeated by Dean A. Dohrman (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
