Abdallah also served in the South Dakota State House from 2000 to 2002. He went on to serve as a member of the South Dakota State Senate from 2003 to 2011. Abdallah did not run for re-election to his senate seat in 2010 -- he had reached his term limit.[1] Instead, he ran for the District 10 house seat.
Abdallah has worked as a Marshal and in highway patrol. He is now retired.
