DiGirolamo attended Holy Family College and Delaware Valley College. He also served in the United States Army Reserves from 1970 to 1976. From 1968 to 1994, he worked as President/Farmer of DiGirolamo Farms, Incorporated.
DiGirolamo was Chair of the Bensalem Township Board of Auditors in 1993. He also was an Auditor for the Bensalem Township from 1992 to 1994. In 1995, he joined the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He has served in that position since, representing the 18th District.
