Eskridge graduated with his Bachelor's in Business Administration degree from the University of Montana in 1971. Eskridge served on active duty in the US Navy during the Vietnam War from 1962 to 1966.
In addition to being a Representative, Eskridge is a Real Estate agent and the President of Pacific Northwest Economic Region.

Eskridge won election in the 2012 election for Idaho House of Representatives District 1B. Eskridge defeated Pam Stout in the May 15 Republican primary and ran unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
