Holland was born in Evansville, Indiana.[2]

Career
- Holland is retired. [2] He worked in pharmaceutical sales from 1961-1995 for American Home Products, which was known as Wyeth Laboratories, now owned by Pfizer Laboratories. [2]
Military:
- Holland was in the United States Air Force from 1951 until 1959 when he was honorably discharged. [2]
Elections
2012
Holland ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Indiana's 6th District. Holland and three other candidates lost to Brad Bookout in the May 8 Democratic primary.[1]
Personal
Holland has been married to his wife, Janice, for 54 years.[2] They have 2 sons and 6 grandchildren.[2]
