George Holland was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 6th Congressional District of Indiana. He lost in the Democratic primary.[1]


Holland was born in Evansville, Indiana.[2]

  • Holland is retired.[2] He worked in pharmaceutical sales from 1961-1995 for American Home Products, which was known as Wyeth Laboratories, now owned by Pfizer Laboratories.[2]


  • Holland was in the United States Air Force from 1951 until 1959 when he was honorably discharged.[2]

Holland ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Indiana's 6th District. Holland and three other candidates lost to Brad Bookout in the May 8, 2012, Democratic primary.[1]
