George McDermott was a 2014 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Maryland.[1] He was defeated by Nancy Hoyt in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014.[2]

He was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Maryland. McDermott was defeated by incumbent Donna Edwards in the Democratic primary on April 3, 2012.[3]

McDermott ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Maryland's 4th District. McDermott sought the nomination on the Democratic ticket, but was defeated by incumbent Donna Edwards in the Democratic primary on April 3, 2012.[3]
