Stafford was a candidate for District 25 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. Stafford and Gale Heiss Colucci ran unopposed in the June 7 Democratic primary. Incumbents Anthony Bucco, Jr. and Michael Carroll defeated John Sierchio in the Republican primary.[1]
