Brady serves as Executive Director of the Delaware State American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations, and is Chief Warrant Officer 3 in the Delaware Army National Guard.
He is a Boy Scout leader, Board President of the Graham Senior Center, Executive Board Member of the Greater Wilmington Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and Board Member of the Wilmington Free Library.[1]

Brady ran for re-election to the 4th District Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. Brady defeated Richard Carroll (R) in the November 2, 2010 general election.[3]

On November 4, 2008, Brady won re-election to the Delaware House of Representatives from Delaware's 4th District, defeating Tyler Patrick Nixon (R and L). Brady received 7,174 votes in the election, while Nixon received 2,605 votes.[4] Brady raised $41,375 for his campaign; Nixon raised $4,955.[5]
