Jerry Green (b. April 16, 1939) is a Democratic member of the New Jersey General Assembly. He represented the 17th District from 1992 to 2002 and the 22nd District from 2002 to present. He is the Speaker Pro Tempore.

Green served as the Deputy Speaker Pro Tempore from 2004-2007 and as Deputy Speaker from 2002-2003.[1]

2011

Green won re-election in 2011. He and incumbent Linda Stender ran unopposed in the Democratic Primary on June 7. They then defeated Joan Van Pelt and Jeffrey First in the November 8 general election.[3]
