A Gibraltar School District Revenue Override Measure
was on the November 6, 2012
ballot in the Gibraltar school district, which is in Door County
, where it was approved
This measure sought to exceed the state set revenue limit by a rate of $2.875 million a year for an ongoing amount of time in order to help pay for budget needs in the district. The district currently has a two year override in place, but officials noted that an override with no time limit would stop the uncertainty every two years going to the ballot asking again for approval.
