The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 11, 2014. Incumbent David Brumbaugh defeated Cliff Johns in the Republican primary, while Glenda K. Puett was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Brumbaugh and Puett will face off in the general election.[1][2]
