Gloria Johnson is a Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 13. She was first elected to the chamber in 2012.

Biography

Johnson received her B.S. from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She currently teaches at Central High School in Fountain City. She also serves as Chair of the Knox County Democratic Party and volunteered with 2008 Obama campaign.[1]

Elections for the office of Tennessee House of Representatives will consist of a primary election on August 7, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 3, 2014. Incumbent Gloria Johnson is unopposed in the Democratic primary. Jason Emert will face Eddie Smith in the Republican primary.[2]
