Gloria Johnson is a former Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 13 from 2012 to 2014.


Johnson received her B.S. from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Her professional experience includes teaching at Central High School in Fountain City. She has also served as the chair of the Knox County Democratic Party and volunteered for the 2008 Barack Obama presidential campaign.[1]

Johnson won election in the 2012 election for Tennessee House of Representatives, District 13. Johnson ran unopposed in the August 2 primary election and won election in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
