Gloria Johnson is a Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 13. She was first elected to the chamber in 2012.


Johnson received her B.S. from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She currently teaches at Central High School in Fountain City. She also serves as Chair of the Knox County Democratic Party and volunteered with 2008 Obama campaign.[1]

The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 3, 2014. Incumbent Gloria Johnson was unopposed in the Democratic primary.
