Denlinger earned his BS in Accounting from Bob Jones University in 1985.
Denlinger worked as Assistant Controller for Newell Rubbermaids Graco Childrens Products Division from 1990 to 2002. He then worked as Controller for Sharp Shopper, Incorporated from 2002 to 2003. He currently works as a Certified Public Accountant.
Denlinger won a special election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on March 18, 2003. He has served in the Pennsylvania House since then, representing the 99th District.
