A Goshen Township Fire Levy Replacement measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the township of Goshen which is in Tuscarawas County.

This measure sought to replace the current fire levy with one set at a rate of $.13 per $100 of assessed value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services in the township.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A replacement of .3 mill of an existing levy and an increase of 1 mill to constitute tax for the benefit of Goshen Township for the purpose of fire protection at a rate not exceeding 1.3 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.13, for each one hundred dollars in valuation, for 5 years commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3]
