A Grain Valley School District Bond Measure was on the April 3, 2012 ballot in the Grain Valley school district area which is in Jackson County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 1,033 (69%)Approveda
  • NO 464 (31%)[1]

This was the second attempt by the school district to get this measure approved, it missed the two-thirds majority needed in the February election. This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $3 million in order to help pay for improvement projects in the district. School officials were more hopeful the bond will pass this time as it only needs a 57% majority to win where as in February it needed 66% to be approved.[2]
