A City of Grand Terrace Ban on Fireworks, Measure Z ballot question was on the November 2, 2010 ballot for voters in the City of Grand Terrace in San Bernardino County. It was defeated.

If Measure Z had been approved, it would have banned the possession, sale, use, display and discharge of fireworks in Grand Terrace.

Measure X, on the ballot in nearby Fontana, would have banned fireworks in Fontana. It, too, was soundly defeated.

Election results

  • Yes: 1,158 (30.86%)
  • No: 2,594 (69.14%) Defeatedd

Election results are from the San Bernardino County elections division as of November 24, 2010.

A simple majority vote was required for approval.

Measure Z: Shall the Ordinance to prohibit the possession, sale, use, display or discharge of fireworks within the City of Grand Terrace be adopted?[1]
