Two Grays Harbor County Fire District 11 Levy Questions were going to be on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the fire district 11 area which is in Grays Harbor County.

These issues were removed from the ballot.

The first measure sought to renew the current levy which is set at a rate of $.25 per $1,000 of assessed property value for one year in order to continue to pay for emergency medical and ambulance services in the district.

The second measure sought to add to the current levy by a rate of $.60 per $1,000 of assessed property value for one year in order to continue to pay for emergency medical and ambulance services in the district.[1]

Proposition 1: Shall Grays Harbor County Fire Protection District No. 11 be authorized to levy a regular property tax in the sum of $21,500 or about $0.25 or less per one thousand dollars of assessed valuation for 2011 to be collected in 2012, for the provision of emergency medical care and ambulance/aid car service, all as provided in Grays Harbor County Fire Protection District No. 11 Resolution No. 2011-03 and the laws of the State of Washington, RCW 84.52.069?

Proposition 2: Shall Grays Harbor County Fire Protection District No. 11 levy the regular taxable property within the District, in addition to its regular levy, the sum of $70,000 or about $.60 or less per thousand dollars of assessed value for the year 2012 for the purpose of providing emergency medical care and ambulance/aid car service to its citizens, all as provided in Grays Harbor County Fire Protection District No. 11 Resolution No. 2011-01 and the laws of the State of Washington, RCW 84.52.069?
