The question on the ballot:

Shall Fire District #3 levy upon the regular taxable property within the District, in addition to its regular levy, the sum of $43,500.00 (approximately $0.647 per thousand of assessed valuation) for the year 2013, for the purpose of providing emergency medical care and fire suppression services to its citizens?[3]
