A Greeley City Food Tax Renewal measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Greeley, which is in Weld County.

This measure was approved

This measure sought to renew the current food tax which would expire the end of 2011. Around 68 percent of the money generated from this tax was directed towards road maintenance projects in the city and had been the sole source of road money for the city. The other percentage of the tax went towards other city needs such as infrastructure and park maintenance. The tax was scheduled to be in place for five years before it had to be renewed again.[2]

Current Statewide

A 2013 statewide measure, Amendment 66, would authorize Colorado to increase taxes with an expected revenue increase of $950 million for school funding.[3]
