Two Green & Rio Grande Local Option Questions were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Green and Rio Grande areas which are in Gallia County.

The Green measure was defeated and the Rio Grande measure was approved[1]

The Green measure sought to allow the sale of alcohol on Sundays in the designated area and the Rio Grande measure sought the sale of alcohol on premise at the specified location.[2]

Green measure: Shall the sale of beer be permitted for sale on Sunday between the hours of eleven a.m. and midnight by L. & R. Fitz H20, L.L.C., dba Spring Valley Marathon, a holder of a C-1 liquor permit who is engaged in the business of operating a carry-out/grocery store at 310 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis (Green Township), Ohio 45631 in this precinct?
