Greenon, Northwest & Yellow Springs School District Levy Measures, 3 (May 2010)

Three School District Levy Measures were on the May 4, 2010 ballot in the school districts of Greenon, Northwest and Yellow Springs which are in Clark County.

All three measures were defeated

The Greenon measure sought to add a $.30 levy, per $100 of assessed value, to the current tax rate for a further five years in order to help pay for the current expenses of the school district.

The Northwest measure sought to substitute a current levy with a $.78 per $100 of assessed value, levy for a further six years in order to help pay for school requirements.

The Yellow Springs measure sought to renew a $.87 tax, per $100 of assessed value, for a further five years in order to help pay for the emergency requirements of the school district as needed.[1]
