Greg Conlon was a Republican candidate for California Treasurer in 2014.[1] He received the second-highest number of votes in the primary election on June 3, earning one of two slots on the general election ballot. Democrat John Chiang finished first in the primary to secure the other nomination and went on to defeat Conlon for the treasurer's office on November 4, 2014.

Conlon's election history also includes unsuccessfully bids for U.S. Senate in 2012 and the California State Assembly in 2010.[2][3]

Conlon ran for state treasurer in 2014. He secured one of two possible nominations in the June 3 primary, the other going to termed-out California Controller John Chiang (D). Conlon was defeated by Chaing for the open treasurer's seat in the general election on November 4, 2014.
