Steuerwald won re-election in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 40. Steuerwald ran unopposed in the May 8 Republican primary and defeated John E. Follis, II (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
2010
Stuerwald defeated Libertarian candidate David Hinkle by a margin of 18,869 to 3,864 in the November 2 general election. [4]
