Grosse Ile & Trenton School Levy Measures, 3 (August 2010)

Three Grosse Ile & Trenton School Levy Measures will be on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the school districts of Grosse Ile and Trenton which are in Wayne County.

The first Gosse Ile school district measure seeks to renew the current school levy of $3.53 per $1,000 of assessed property value for ten years in order to help pay for general operating costs in the district.[1]

The second Grosse Ile school district measure seeks to renew the current sinking fund levy of $1 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further five years in order to pay for construction of new buildings and repairs to old buildings int he district.[2]

The Trenton school district measure seeks to renew the current school levy of $4.90 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further ten years in order to help pay for operational expenses in the school district.[3]
