This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $114 million in order to help with construction and facility repair plans throughout the district. If this had been approved, average homeowners in the school area would have paid an additional $205 a year on property taxes. A portion of the construction plan would have been paid for with state money, though it would not be available to the district until 2011. A total of seven buildings throughout the district had been been planned.
