Hampshire Park, Sugar Grove Public Library and Wayne Village Property Tax Extention Limitation (February 2010)

There were three Property Tax Extention Limitation measures on the February 2 ballot in Kane County for voters in the Hampshire park district, Sugar Grove public library and Wayne Village areas.

All three measures were defeated

  • Hampshire Park: 68.29% against with 943 votes against and 408 in favor.
  • Sugar Grove: 66.53% against with 1,925 votes against and 930 in favor.
  • Wayne Village: 65.27% against with 157 votes against and 82 in favor.Defeatedd[1]

The Hampshire Park District measure seeks to increase the property tax limitation by .05 percent.

The Sugar Grove Public Library District seeks to increase the limitation by .107 percent.

The Village of Wayne seeks to increase the limitation by .1745 percent.[2]
