Harmon "Gene" Jeffress (b. October 18, 1948) has been a Democratic member of the Arkansas Senate since 2003. He represents the 25th district.
Education
Jeffress earned his BME from the University of Arkansas, Monticello, in 1971.

Jeffress is a former Teacher. He is now retired.
Political experience
Jeffress served in the Arkansas State House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002. He then joined the Arkansas State Senate in 2003. He has served in that position since, representing the 25th district.
