This measure was defeated

  • YES 1,287
  • NO 1,984 Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to implement a 1 mill property tax for one year in order to generate funds to help for pathway and road improvement projects in the township. Average homeowners in the township would have paid around $160 a year in additional taxes if this measure had been approved. Commissioners noted the declining condition of the roads and dwindling funds as the main reason this measure was proposed.[2]
