Harvey Schmidt was a Democratic candidate for District 57 in the Michigan House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010 state legislative elections. Schmidt faced Nancy Jenkins in the general election on November 2, 2010.
Schmidt was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 57 of the Michigan House of Representatives.
Schmidt served as mayor of Tecumseh, Michigan from 2000-2010. He also served on the Tecumseh City Council in the 1980s and 1990s. Schmidt is the owner and president of Schmidt & Sons Pharmacy, Inc. He graduated from Ferris State University in '74 with a Pharmacy degree.[1][2][3]

Schmidt ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 57. He was defeated by Jim Berryman in the Democratic primary on August 7.[4][5]
