Hawaii Question 2, also known as the Legislative power to reserve marriage to opposite-sex couples Act, was on the November 7, 1998 election ballot in Hawaii. It passed, with 69.2% of voters in favor.

The proposed amendment is intended to make it absolutely clear that the State Constitution gives the Legislature the power and authority to reserve marriage to opposite-sex couples.
