Hawaii Staggered Senate Terms, Amendment 3 (2000)

Hawaii Amendment 3 was on the November 7, 2000 election ballot in Hawaii. It passed, with 72% of voters in favor. It would assign to the reapportionment commission the duty to maintain the staggering of senate terms in a manner that is equitable for all candidates in an election.[1]
