The Hawaii lieutenant gubernatorial election will take place on November 4, 2014. Incumbent Shan Tsutsui (D) was first appointed in December 2012 and is eligible to seek re-election.

Hawaii is one of 14 states that uses an open primary system, in which registered voters do not have to be members of a party to vote in that party's primary.[1][2][3]
