Heidi Gansert (b. 1963) is a former Republican member of the Nevada Assembly, representing District 25 from 2004 to 2010. She served as the House Minority Leader. On March 4, 2010, she announced she would not be seeking re-election.[1]

Biography

Gansert earned her B.S. in Engineering from the University of Santa Clara in 1985 and her M.B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1990. Her professional experience includes working as a medical practice consultant; treasurer/financial adviser for Brian Sandoval for Attorney General; and former planning engineer for the Sierra Pacific Power Company.[2]

On November 4, 2008, Gansert won re-election to the District 25 Seat in the Nevada Assembly, defeating Robert Townsend.[3]
