Task
You will be:
- Locating all articles that exist on Ballotpedia about local ballot measures for particular states.
- Inserting links to those articles on the relevant county and election date articles.
Once you have done that for a given state, you can cross the state off this list:
Steps
Step 1
- For the state you are working on, go to Ballotpedia's search bar and insert the equivalent of Category:Local ballot measures, Arizona.
Step 2
- Explore the articles and subcategories you find in that category to determine whether BP has any articles about any specific local ballot measures from that state.
Step 3
- Determine the county where the election occurred.
Step 4
- Determine the date on which the election occurred.
Step 5
- Insert a "See also' section in the article that wiki-links to those county and date articles.
- If there is no article about that election date, start it and add it to the county's local ballot measure template.
Step 6
- Go to the article on BP about that county's ballot measures and on that article:
- Insert a section heading for the date of the election.
- Insert a link to the article about that day's elections. (Example: November 3, 2009 ballot measures in California).
- Under that section, insert a wiki-link to the article about the local ballot measure.
Step 7
- Go to the article on BP about that election day and on that article:
- Insert a section heading for each county that conducted an electon on that date.
- Insert a link to the article about that county's ballot measures.. (Example: Contra Costa County, California ballot measures).
- Under that section, insert a wiki-link to the article about the local ballot measure.
Step 8
Once you have performed these steps for every specific local ballot measure article in that state, cross the state off the list above.
