Adding a project badge to your user page:

Example:

You don't have to add user badges to your user page but if you do, it makes it much easier for you to find the set of pages on Ballotpedia that you expect to be working with the most.

This is because you can access your user page in one click from anywhere on the wiki, by going to the top bar and clicking on your login name. Once there, if you have a handy user badge or two installed on your user page, you can click its link and immediately find the sections of articles you most want to work on.

Adding Project Badges to your User Page:

To install a user badge, you can open the edit box of your user page. Insert the name of the user badge template that you found on the project page. Since it is a template, make sure that the name of the template is enclosed in a double set of braces (curly brackets).

For example, {{LBM Writer}} will produce this project badge:

To find all of the current projects on Ballotpedia, you can go to Project Directory. Each project lists its user badge.

Keep scrolling, there's more!....

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Preview” to make sure your code has been entered correctly. You can continue to select “preview” after small changes to check if your result is what you wanted.

If you want to start over, click “cancel.”

When you are satisfied with the Preview, click “Save page.”
