How to preview your edits:

Example:

•When you are adding information to an article, you can preview your work at any time, and as many times as you wish before saving.

•You will be able to see how your article looks without saving it.

•Previews are not recorded in your “history” tab. Only when you hit “save page”, also at the bottom of your edit page, is the action recorded in the history of your page.

•While you are on the “edit” screen, scroll to the bottom of the page. Use the outside scroll bars.

•Click “preview.” Your preview of the page appears at the top and your edit page still appears at the bottom of the page.

•You may want to discard all of your changes and start over with editing the page. You can click on the “Cancel” link to the right of the “show changes” button.

•That way you can easily test how your page looks before you click “save page” at the bottom.

Be sure to click “save page” when you are finished, or you will lose your work.

•You can also select the “show changes” button at the bottom of the page.

•When you click “show changes,” a screen appears at the top of the window showing the current saved version on the left and the changes you made (from your editing screen) on the right.

•The changes you made to the editing window will show up in the right column in red.
