Henrik Shipstead (January 8, 1881 – June 26, 1960), was a member of the U.S. Senate from the state of Minnesota from 1923 to 1947. He was first elected as a Farmer-Laborite and served as a member of the party until being elected as a Republican in 1940.[1]
