The Herman School District Referendum was a school bond brought to the April 7 ballot by the school board in the Herman School District which is in Dodge County. The measure sought to exceed state-set revenue limits by $75,000 per year for 5 years, for a total of $375,000. The additional funds would be used for non-recurring operational costs.
Status
Passed by five votes, with 142 "yes" votes and 137 "no" votes.[1]
Wording of referendum
BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the School Distist Number 22, Town of Herman, Dodge County, Wisconsin, that the revenues included in the School District budget beginning with the 2009-2010 school year and ending with the 2013-2014 school year be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $75,000 a year, for non-recurring purposes consisting of operational purposes. Adopted and recorded January 8, 2009.[1]
