Hi-Plains School District R-23 Bond Question (November 2012)
This question authorized the Hi-Plains School District R-23 to increase its debt through issuing general obligations in the amount of up to $2.9 million with a repayment cost of up to $4.5 million and increase property taxes by up to $225,000 annually. This bond measure qualifies the district to receive $14.17 million in State Financial Assistance and these funds are to be used for acquiring land and constructing an educational facility for pre-school through twelfth grad to replace the existing school camupuses in order to meet current health, safety and energy use standards.
